SquirrelPR Welcomes Keni Akintoye of KT Communications: A New Chapter in PR Excellence

We are thrilled to announce that Keni Akintoye, the founder and Lead Strategist of KT Communications, has joined the advisory board of SquirrelPR, a fast-emerging African media tech startup. Keni is a seasoned expert in media and marketing communications, bringing extensive knowledge in digital media, brand management, advertising, and public relations.

In a recent statement, SquirrelPR expressed their excitement:

“We are delighted to welcome Keni Akintoye to our advisory board. As the founder/CEO of KT Communications and a certified expert in brand management, digital media, and marketing communication, Keni brings invaluable insights and expertise. His addition will undoubtedly propel SquirrelPR to new heights in PR management and innovation across Africa. Stay tuned as we embark on this transformative journey together.”

Keni Akintoye, an alumnus of Lagos State University, shared his enthusiasm about his new role:

“It’s an honour to be part of the growth journey of one of Africa’s fastest-growing media tech startups. I look forward to many successes with the team.”

Keni’s impressive media career began as a creative assistant at a Lagos-based advertising agency during his undergraduate years. Over the past two decades, he has garnered substantial experience across broadcasting, film, digital media, and brand communication.

With a master’s degree in Communication Studies and international certifications in Business Communication, Corporate Strategy, Project Management, and Advanced Brand Management, Keni is well-equipped to contribute significantly to SquirrelPR. He believes that:

“SquirrelPR is a timely solution, especially in the volatile media landscape where corporate brands are often at risk of reputational crises due to the public’s relentless pursuit of viral content and clout.”

Looking ahead, Keni is optimistic about expanding industry collaborations:

“As we work towards enhancing industry collaborations in the coming years, I am confident that brand managers, PR agencies, and marketing communications professionals will find it easier to engage directly with credible newsrooms, journalists, bloggers, and content creators across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. This will undoubtedly elevate authentic brand storytelling in corporate Africa.”

SquirrelPR has already made significant strides, having been a finalist at the US-West Africa Tech Challenge in Abidjan, Côte D’Ivoire, in 2023. With Keni Akintoye on board, the future looks promising for further innovations and success.
